Artist with Special Needs is Invited to Grounds for Sculpture
Pattrice Jetter is a talented artist I met when I became employed by Allies Inc. While attending a networking event, I was speaking with Bonnie Brown, a contact I have at the Grounds for Sculpture located in Hamilton Township New Jersey. They needed an artist for their Day at the Fair event. I spoke to her about Patrice, who had a dream of going to the Grounds for Sculpture. This is a story on how Patrice was able to fulfill her dream.

Making a Difference in Someone's Life
One of the most rewarding experiences I have had when working for the government was being able to make a difference in someones life. This is a letter from Brian M. Hughes, Mercer County Executive. The County Executive also contacted Scott to congratulate him on his success.

Photo with Governor Jon Corzine
Jon Corzine, prior to being elected Governor of New Jersey, held a fund raiser in Newark New Jersey. It was just months ago when I had been asked to have a fund raiser for him at my home. Jon Corzine is very personable and when I saw him at the fund raiser in Newark, I asked if we could share a photo.

Alito Trial Raises Question by School Board Member
Samuel Alito graduated from Steinert High School in Hamilton Township. As a Hamilton School Board member, I knew I had a responsibility to the students and the taxpayers who voted me into office. Should that be a requirement for someone who seeks this level of responsibility? When it was brought to my attention that several school board members and administration were going to attend the court hearings for Samuel Alito's inauguration, at a cost of over $2,300 to Washington, D.C. I deserved an answer and I expected one. Why would you not have selected students to attend? Samuel Alito attended Steinert High School in Hamilton Township New Jersey and students are not representing their Alma mater Why would it be more important to send school board members and school board administrators then high school students that could benefit educationally not only from witnessing the hearing, but also as representatives from Steinert High School, the Alma mater. Also, just as troubling, spend tax payers money to boot?

Tom's River Advertiser's Get Swept up in Local Lifetime Network Supermarket Sweep
A local supermarket in Tom's River New Jersey, Foodtown, was considering canceling their cable advertising contract with Adelphia Cable. As Special Projects Manager, it was my job to work with account executives to help them develop promotions to generate cable advertising sales.
The Account Executive and I paid a joint call to the management at Foodtown, when I thought, wouldn't it be interesting to contact Lifetime Network and see if we could bring Supermarket Sweep, with the original television host David Ruprecht to Tom's River.

Animals I have Rescued
Bennie is a St. Bernard who at the time of this photo, was 9 months old. He lived tied up at a home in Trenton, NJ. His legs were beginning to atrophied. A friend told me he needed a home.
Connecting with some other animals lovers I know, Bennie now lives in New York State. He loves to swim in his own lake, runs in a large yard and has many family memnbers to plays with every day. His new dad is a policeman and Bennie loves driving in his patrol car.
Noah was a new guest in our backyard. He was a bit ferral, but it appeared he probably had an owner at one time or another. He had been in a terrible accident where another creature bit his ear pretty bad, so we caught him and brought him to the vet. Turned out he had Feline Aids, and we had a choice to either put him down or find him a home. Noah has lived in a sanctuary for a the past few years in Maryland called Rude Ranch where he has many friends. I send a check for his room and board quarterly. We visited him last year, he seems very tame and happy there.
There are many stories and mine all have happy endings. I would be remiss however not to include my two fury friends, that we found in our yards as kitten. They are a year apart. They were ferral cats that we domesticated and have lived in our home for over 7 years, Andy (red) and Fatso (black & white)
